A possible trip to a coffee producer!

Some analysis in this week's broadsheets picked up on the difference between the coalition government's idea for a £2.4bill bank levy 'tax' and the bonus pot of >£7bill that the bankers are giving themselves, this Xmas !!
Eric Cantona has signed up to s peoples' peaceful revolution idea in France to get everyone to withdraw all their savings from the banks to create a 'run'. The activists are frustrated that noone is creating an intellectual alternative to a capitalist banking system.

Friday 25th June

Decided to take today off. Nice to be able to visit bookshop and library, even if neither had the GDH Cole books on co-operatives and socialism. Day will finish nicely at the African drumming band event this evening.

Back to the books.... I'm revisiting some of the giants (re-read the Beveridge report last nite). I need an antidote for the pragmatic Pygmys dishing out current labour leadership tripe.
